What is digital scholarship?
Digital scholarship (DS) is the deeply considered and critical use of digital methods and tools to conduct research and present scholarship. Digital humanities falls under the umbrella of DS and incorporates humanities specific practices and methodologies. DS includes such methods as data visualization, text mining, and network analysis. DS projects range widely in complexity and can be as basic as a simple timeline to as sophisticated as a large-scale database.
